I am a reformed alcoholic, I used to consume 2-fifths of gin EVERY day, I quit drinking over 20 years ago, after I lost everything that meant anything to me. Then I found out that they were there all along, I just wasn't allowing them into my drunken world.

Not as such ... but when I got pregnant, I stopped drinking alcohol. Then I breastfed my baby, so didn't drink. After all that time, I never really got the habit back so I very rarely drink nowadays.
The only problem is, that when I do drink, I get drunk very quickly - talk about a cheap date!
