There is also lots of articles that help you to learn about the industry, lots of acting tips and you can place your CV and headshot on the site so that Casting Agents get to see your details.

Get a BFA in theater. Peform as much as you can in theater in the city where you live. You should audition for Community Theatre as often as possible. Develop your skills where you live. When you are getting "noticed" in your city, you may want to think about peforming in Regional Theaters near where you live.

Go to ESI Management if your around 21 or under and try out. There they have acting classes that are very important and they send you out on auditions.
