Ok, there is this guy i really like and have been involved with for a while, and i told him that my late husband died. But i didn't tell him how, he found out from a few friends in town and now he is really freaked out and wont talk to me. I sorta killed my last husband, but the courts ruled it as self defense because he was a violent man. But many people dont believe that it was self defense and they have told my lover to stay away from me. It is horrible and i need help. How do i make him understand im not a cold blooded killer? I love him so very much.

If there is a way to show him your first husbands violent past. any police reports? being honest is always important first, at this point your lover has probably lost alot of trust in you. i would imagine you going through that was and will be something very hard to deal with and telling someone would be scary. thats why you didn't in the past but you can't make that mistake again. HONESTY, TRUTH and RESPECT is what your lover wants... give it to him. tell him everything and if he won't listen your better off without him. keep your head up.

well i think maybe u should have been more up front about it and said soemthing like "my husband abused my and when he came at me one time i defended myself and the injury he got killed him, id never been so scared in my life" or somethign liek that. now, i would sugest u just be really honest, if he loves u he will trust u and be there for u. i know cuz if my bf came to me crying saying he killed soemone id help him hide the body.

That is a tough one, but if what you say is true, he should understand. But try and involve those who know of your past abuse and have them talk to him, either way if he cant believe you, why should you love someone who doesnt believe you!

This is not a question for Yahoo! Answers. This is something you need to take up with a psychiatrist. Good luck. Ciao!

That is one tough hurdle to overcome. Can you let him read the court transcripts?
