I'm a passive smoker,i quit twice, only to smoke again.Why is it so difficult?I love exercising and running but always short of breath and get tired easily.Smoking make my exercise routine difficult.If only i quit,i can enjoy it more.It also make my stamina run low.

seriously, the best way is to just not put a cigarette in your mouth. It isn't like dieting where you have to cut back. Just don't do it. Every day that goes by the cravings decrease. the first day you think about smoking every minute. After a month, you only think about it once or twice a day.

I was a smoker before. But for almost over a two months now that I have never smoked a cigarette. The first day was hell. But then I was determined to quit, so I had cigarettes out of my sight. Next thing I did was to substitute cigarettes with candies or fruits. Quiting did not allowed me to kick an unhealthy habit, but it also changed my unhealthy lifestyle to a healthy one.

i wish i could tell you- im going to try to quit tomarow and im going to throw away all my lighters and ash trays and anything that would make me crave i hope it works! good luck

there are patches, lozenges, gum, hypnotism, pick something. my mother does gum, her doctor says she can be on it until she doesn't want a smoke or until she's dead.
