If I was buying the Wii it would be for myself. I'd just tell the wife it was for the kids and remind them 10 years from now how long I waited in the cold rain and snow just to put smiles on their little faces.

Thank goodness I live in an area where a long wait is minutes, not hours. Then, again, for the really popular stuff like PS3, you had better bring a sleeping bag and portapotty, lol.

If I had child and they really wanted a certain toy I would wait as long as I needed to in line. The toy had to be within my means to get it. It can't be something I can't afford or is stupidly priced.
