Sports would help you to expend some of your energy. Dance is great if you are creative as well.

What she means is that in her class she wants you to be less of a distraction to others and pay more attention. She wants you to find interests outside of class that will absorb your excess energy rather than letting it loose in her class. She is trying to be polite about it.
