I have been where you are and I can tell you that no one knows the correct answer or solution to your depression that answer can only come from you. I can also tell you that after a very long time of being stubborn I figured out that I could not find the answers or solutions by myself. If you do decide you need someone else to help you that is OK it does not mean your weak or dumb, it just means you need someone else to help. Good Luck.

Been there done that. It will pass, and life will go well, and then maybe sadness and apathy will come again. When I get that way, i will buy some top quality chocolate truffles, and the "life isn't worth it" cloud will pass. I only eat chocolate on such occasions. It actually works for me, like an exquisite drug, which is what it is. Then, when the choco is causing my brain to release whatever chemical it is that it triggers into my system, i will go see a movie, or read a book, or do something to distract myself. Clean the house even. And from there I won't be blissfully happy, but i will be fine.

Depression is a difficult thing to cope with. Many times it leaves you feeling as though there is no purpose for living. It is important to realize that Depression is a serious illness that may be caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. At times there is no explanation as to the causation of the depression aside from the chemical imbalance. Depression may cause you to lose interest in everyday activities in which you used to enjoy. The important thing to remember is that although you may not feel as though taking your own life would have an impact on others, your friends and family would be greatly affected by the loss. Suicide is not the answer and causes harm to others. You need to speak with a mental health professional about your current feelings and symptoms so they can determine the type of treatment that would best suit you. Seeking treatment for depression does not make you crazy, it is just like going to the doctor for an illness. Depression is an illness often associated with a chemical imbalance and can be treated through counseling as well as medication when deemed necessary by a psychiatrist. Once again I would strongly urge you to seek assistance from a mental health agency to assist with your emotions.

Try to think of all the good things you have in your life. Your life could be so much worse then it is.
Life is worth living, you can get through this. Find someone to talk to, a close friend or seek help from a counsellor.
Good luck

Life is worth living. Check your life, are you living with some imbalances like a poor diet, health issues. Try to clean your physical life, like diet (blend fresh spinach with pineapple juice in your blender -good taste and mentally picks you up) and get some exercize - a walk anything. This really can help, you just gotta do it.If it's worse than that then Go get help, call hotline but do so immediately!! and I'll pray too!

Pray and pray really hard and sincerely.
Try this:
Father Almighty, I ask that you hear my cry. You know my sorrows and my thoughts before I even say it. I thank you for this life you've given me but I'm going through a time and I can't seem to find anymore meaning in life. I ask that you grant me the strength to carry on. I would like you to come into my heart and take your place. Amen.
Jesus will take your problems.

depression is mostly from your day to day problems which are not even worth wallowing in. snap out of it and try doing something worthwhile like lending a hand to a friend or even a stranger. that should make you feel good and besides you would realize that you are luckier than a lot of people. go out and enjoy the day, even just for a walk. good luck and be strong,k?

I think I will look around for awhile and see if anyone else is actually enjoying the day and try to mimic them. Otherwise I will have to pretend I am a pirate, a prince, a GI or something and destroy the uniformity of my room.
If Mom wont clean it up I will just have some good startings for another adventure later.
Enjoy!

Listen to all of these people. They all know what they are talking about. It could be from talking to God to calling the suicide help prevention hotline and so on. Please...listen to them and to me. Your life is worth living...okay. I hope you realize that.
