Absolutely, Children are the focus in the marriage. Everyone will be so busy working keeping the kids happy time will fly. However as soon as there is an empty nest the marriage will fall apart. But by then the goal of the marriage will have been served. To raise happy children.
Parents are so darn self serving now days. Look at the the dumb jerks here saying no!

I think that people stay married sometimes for many reasons. However, staying just because you may be fearful of your wife removing your child from your home could make things worse. You have rights as a father and it is very difficult for someone to hide in this day and age. If you do not love your wife any longer and do not want to work on the marriage, going to the courts will resolve it for you. Good luck to you.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. That is not a marriage. That is blackmail. Get a good lawyer. Life is too short to tie up your life like that. It is no life for your child either. PLEASE DON'T LET THAT BE THE REASON YOU ARE STAYING
