Does anyone know anything about killing german roaches? A week ago, I began seeing what appeared to be baby bugs in my downstairs bathroom and later in my kitchen. I called Terminix to come spray when I began seeing alot of the bugs. The terminix man informed me that I may have german roaches or some type of small roach. He said that they were hard to get rid of. He sprayed and baited my kitchen for the roaches. It seemed to be working since I haven't seen any live ones in my kitchen, just some dead ones. He told me to give it about a month to kill them and that it wasn't going to happen over night. However, today I saw one in my living room and just a few minutes ago I saw one in my office upstairs. I have never saw them in these other places. So now I'm afraid that they have moved from my kitchen to other parts of my house. The bug guy said give it month but he didn't spray any other room in my house other than the kitchen. Should I call him back or is the kitchen spraying enough?

Even if he didn't spray the whole house, he should have AT LEAST put down bait traps everywhere. Wouldn't YOU run to another room if there was poison in another? Call the guy back and tell him you want him to finish what he started, immediately. A month is too long to wait. These bugs can have thousands of babies by then. I think you were not given the service you assumed you were paying for.

Call him back, the roaches are running from the sprayed areas into the clean areas and they will not die where there is no poison. He should have sprayed the whole house to begin with even if they were only in certain places. Being a professional he should have known that the roaches were going to run to non-poisoned areas, maybe you need a new company.

Boric acid, it is very effective when used properly for killing cockroaches and most other insects. You can also get a house lizard, they are natural enemies and will eat them. More information at http://tinyurl.com/ofxkk
