I don't think many people have heard about the "North American Union". Although talks about its formation have been around for several years. I personally do not think that the "amero" or a "unified North America" are soon on the horizon. The relationships between the countries proposed are not yet strong or secure enough to support a "trilateral treaty".

yes -- it is quite the conspiracy theory isn't it? unfortunately mexico has nothing even closely resembling a unified government and stable economy to go along with the deal and no offense to republicans but about all gw bush has accomplished is getting us in a war he can't get us out of. this guy is going to unify north america while he is tearing the united states apart state by state? i don't think so.

Almost everyone? Probably not because it is hypothetical. I would say the chances of this ever really happening are uh slim to none. Especially considering the countries we're talking about!
