Greetings,
The bible is a good source of information about history. but out side of that writing.
The oldest that is written down is the old Babylon New Years holiday. Celebrated on the first new moon after the Vernal Equinox. Around 2000 BC. By the way new year became January 1st, in 153 BC by order of Roman senate.
The Jewish holiday of pass over is really old as well. They just don't have a date on that one.
Also, In China it was common for the old emperors to declare a Holiday after the ending of a war. I have read that would have started around 3000 BC. there are just no records of it.
