In the recent episode involving 6 imams who were taken off aplane in handcuffs, you would be hard pressed to get the whole truth from MSNBC and CNN and ABC. They reported that the only thing suspicious about the imams was that they prayed before their flight. What they failed to mention was that the imams prayed very loudly before boarding shouting Allah Allah Allah at the end, then they changed seats once on board the plan. They took new seats near the planes emergency and regular exits. Then 3 out of 6 asked for seat belt extenders even though 2 of those 3 were not overweight. Then they did not use the extenders but rather placed them on the floor near their seats. According to passengers they were also overheard talking about Bin Laden and Bush.

Why doesn't the media report the entire truth to us. Why do you have to search high and low to find out everything? Is it that the media does not want the truth to be told?

It looks like the aircraft incident was a staged event. A fake hijacking is the same as a bomb threat and the imams should do some prison time for their ill-considered publicity stunt. Next time people try a stunt like that throw them off the plane before it lands and it will be reported as a thwarted hijacking.

To answer the initial question, yes media bias, whether intentional or due to incompetence, does hurt security.

Yes. The terrorists will practice in public many times incurring false alarms and evading most long term detention, thanks to political correctness. They tweak their morbid plans with each practice run. I read this years ago when researching al quaeda after 9/11. An example: the Twin Towers were attacked in 1993, and then successfully in 2001. They keep trying until they get it right. Watch for all the misfires. Other examples: what is going on with our trains worldwide? A train crash was deliberately used to influence the election in Spain. England experienced its largest train wreck in history last year. Biological illnesses were spread in Japan's trains and practiced more than once. White powder in the DC mail. What else does big media brush under the carpet?
