Don't go to the trouble of a dye before you try a Sharpie pen. It's permanent, it's got a good point so you can color in only the spot that has been bleached, and if it fades, you can color it in again. Much cheaper and waaaaaaay less messy.

You can buy the dye at a Craft store like Michael's or JoAnn or something...couldnt hurt to try, the dye isn't expensive and if they're your favorite pair I'd give it a shot. If it doesn't work, oh well you've wasted a few bucks on dye. Your chances of success might be greater because it's just black and not really a matching of hues challenge.

Not sure if those blends will accept an over the counter dye. I carry a permanent black magic marker with me everywhere.

That type of material is hard to dye. If you need them for work or an emergency ( no time to replace them) I would recommend the quick fix...use a black marker (Sharpie) fill it in so it won't be so obvious!
Good Luck!!

depending on where the spot is u can use a sharpie permanent marker to color the stain...most likely it will blend in...it's worth a try rather than throwing them away!!!

Try a black magic marker. If it works, fine; if not, you are no worse off than you are now.

yes, but you have to die the entire pair of panys not just the spot and you may need to do it more than once.
