It sounds so negative and it seems that repackaged DVDs are cheaper than "non-repackaged"?

It means they are either used or the origional packaging was damaged.

Simply put, it's not in its original factory packaging. Generally speaking, there are two reasons for a repackage to take place:
1. The original packaging was damaged
2. The DVD has already been viewed and is now being resold

I believe it means that it has been opened, and then resealed by the company that made it. I think that if Wal-mart or somewhere has a returned opened DVD, or if they find one opened on there shelf they sent it back to the company it came from and then it is tested and repackaged.

Generally it means that they have at least been opened (if not used), thus needing to be repackaged. Once they're not in their original packaging, they're generally cheaper.

i think repackaged are like the ones that have been returned and have been opened so they have to repackage them n since they have been open they have to be sold cheeper
