in all probability because of the fact the components is greater desirable in June. that's the comparable motive used for celebrating the monarch's birthday not on the actual day yet extremely later, in June, whilst the components is warmer. June third of this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days would have been chosen as a nod to the 59th anniversary of the coronation, even regardless of the undeniable fact that its sixtieth anniversary will easily be next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

till the centenary of WHAT?

In Israel, the land was supposed to have a sabbath rest every seven years. (ground lay fallow).

After 7 Sabbath Years would come the Jubilee year, the 50th year, when debts would be cancelled, land returned to the owner's clan/tribe, etc.

Two Jubilees would equal one Century.

But Israel wasn't careful to observe the Sabbath years ... after 490 years (70 Sabbath Years not observed), God enforced it ... 70 years captivity by Babylon.
