But how do you know it was a dream?

Yes. Some dreams are so vivid, it's hard to forget them. Sometimes I even dream the same dream I had several years ago. It's strange, but interesting.

sometimes I have dreams of old dreams, they make me remember how I felt when I had them years and years ago. Wake up remebering feeling like an 8 year old kid , either scared or happy, is mind blowing. Glad it doesn;t happen very often
