my period was due the 17th but didnt come and i also had a light brown spotting on like the 20th. i have sore breast and they seem to be a little bigger. my biggest problem is i have had diarrhea for like a week has anone else had this experience and is it a result of pregnancy.

You certainly could be pregnant. The light brown spotting sounds very typical of implantation spotting. However, diarrhea is NOT a symptom of pregnancy nor is it normal - especially if it has lasted for a week. This can easily lead to dehydration. I don't recommend taking any medication to stop the diarrhea, since if you are pregnant it could have an unpredictable effect on the baby, and diarrhea is frequently natures way of cleaning toxins, such as those caused by a virus or bacterial infection, from the body. I really think you should see a doc about the diarrhea. I'd also take a pregnancy test. It should be accurate by now. There is the very slight possibility that something else (illness) has caused your body to skip a period.

All these things can happen due to pregnancy, but the great thing, is that they can also be signs of your cycle starting. Drives you crazy that you just don't have a built in positive and negative sign. Just take a test, and if it is negative, take another in a day or two after that. Sorry I have no other good advice for you.

i have read this to be a problem for every month of pregnancy and on the other hand some women get constipation like I did. Check with a test in a couple of weeks, k? good luck! and get prenatal care if you get a positive!

You may want to go to the doctor. You could be pregnant.
