Mother of 4. Is it overrated not for me. Is it something that everyone needs to do to feel complete...absolutly not. Enjoy your life.. and tell everyone to mind their own buisness. Trust me when their children reach the teenage years they will be singing a different tune!

You don't have children just to "experience" it. Children have to be wanted, they should not be an obligation. It is not an easy job and will take at least 20 years to see a return on your investment.
You must be prepared for sleepless nights, crying for no apparent reason and constant feeding and changing of diapers. This is the easy stage. Then they grow to childhood, and then to teens. However, at some point - when they have become young adults they look at you and realize just who you are and all that you have done for them. It is at that point you truly realize that being a mother is the "ultimate feeling in this world."

I love being a mother its the greatest feeling in the world no matter how hard it gets at times. I had my son at 19 and his father has never once helped out but I could care less because the love a mother has for her child is simply beautiful. I really cant explain it with words.
If you dont want kids then thats on you, you dont have to have kids to feel complete as a woman.

I think there is something biological with most women to want have babies. But when the babies grow up a bit and start telling you that you "suck" or are "stupid" or any other variety of insult 5 year olds can come up with, the honeymoon is over and you have to start being a real parent.
Being a parent is about the hardest job in the world, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't 100% committed to all that is involved with that job.

I haven't got kids of my own yet but in about 2 to 3 years we wish to start. At the moment I don't feel ready yet but everyone says that when it is your kids it is this feeling that you don't know untill you experience it!! It is your own flesh and blood where your husband and yourself have made and all your motherly instincts will come naturally to care for the child and to protect it!! Everyone is different and it all depends on whether you stongly agree to not have kids or maybe down the track you might change and feel that you are missing something and you would like a child of your own!!

I love being a mother, but it is not for everybody. You basically have a job that never ends, even when you go to sleep you are in mommy mode. Some woman, such as yourself don't feel the need or want to have children, this is perfectly normal. My sister in law is always happy to babysit my children yet she don't have any children of her own and she is happy just the same,as I say motherhood is not for everybody, you have to want it to enjoy it.

I don't think all women should experience having babies. Some women are not fit to be a parent or might resent a child that was brought into the world unplanned.

I have 3 kids and love them all dearly but thats because they are part me but later in life when you feel the need honey have children if that time in your life never approaches you and your husband so be it enjoy life with or without them but don't do it to see what its like because thats not fair to the child if you dont want them they can sense that.

Being a mother of 3, I can tell you that it is the MOST amazing experience ever!! I have never loved so deeply, never felt more important, and have never wanted to give so much of myself. HOWEVER.....I firmly believe that if you do not want to have children you should not have them. Kids are hard work. They can drain you emotionally and financially and if your not 1000% ready for that, you shouldn't have kids.

I have a baby.. Its not overrated but words can not describe the 1st time I seen my daughter for carrying her for 39 weeks and 5 days. That's one of the reasons god gave you a vagina is to give child birth. I think you should to carry on your family legacy. Its a beautiful experience you wont regret it.
