Nope he was no King or Emperor, that would not be tolerated in Rome, He was like the president of their Senate. But he went into Battle to bring more wealth and civilize other countries. The same as Julius Caesar. Julius was assassinated for that very reason he wanted to be named Dictator of Rome. The Senate would not tolerate that ever. Marcus Aurelius Caesar was a very proficient man and an educated man he wrote magnificent philosophies, and he conquered Barbaria to its knees. His last crusade. He was assassinated by his son as the book tells you or if you saw the movie Gladiator, and his son was insane with no morals.

The Borgias, maybe. But it would be very difficult to determine you're descended from the others on the list, given the time that has passed. Also bear in mind that being related could mean being a descendant not directly from these historical figures, but from a relative of theirs, an uncle, cousin, brother, sister, etc. Over a period of 2000 years this means that tens or hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions could make the same claim. there's no reason not to be proud of your ancestors. But before claiming such figures as being your ancestors you might want to document such claims better, or face ridicule.
