Sadly no- it they are private they got it that way through the phone company.

As for unknown calls- I do not think there is anything you can do about this. My parents have the block on private numbers- my cell phone comes up unknown on their caller ID but it still goes through. The only thing I can tell you is to start screening your phone calls if an unknown caller calls- if it is some one important I am sure they will leave a message.
