Bush is only as good as his advisers. Rumsfeld is the war monger you should be angry with.

I will answer the question. I don't "love" Bush, or suppose that he has done what I would consider the "right thing" in all cases, but on Iraq I back him. The situation was this: Iraq had WMD's (it had used them). Iraq was required by the truce agreement (and numerous subsequent UN resolutions) to get rid of them in an accountable manner, but did not do so. This had been going on for ten years and would have gone on longer had not Bush concluded, after 9/11, that WMD's in the hands of a maniac, which weapons could possibly be used against the US, was a threat that could no longer be tolerated. That threat has now been abated. Of course, we now have a mess in Iraq, with the country in near-anarchy, but unless we want to turn the land over to the likes of Taliban and al Qaeda, we have little choice but to persist.

I answer every question about 911, but I may add some kind of insult. It's fun watching the kooks run around yelling "it's an inside job!" President Bush is not responsible for the attacks on 9/11/2001 we are at war with terror. It only has to do with oil because of the fact that if we don't protect Iraq, oil prices will go up. What else are you confused about?

Because there are interestings bigger than a simple answer, president Bush as the mexican president Fox, are tow men that need really good people to tell them what to say, because when they talk the say stupid things all the time. So Bush and his people, can't answer this questions because they know that the answers only can damage so much more the poor image of the president.

It's quite simple, and I know this from dealing with a CT nutcase... People will believe what they want, and they will go out and find "proof" to support it... They WILL NOT believe facts presented against them, no matter how credible... So it is not worth the time spent debating with them...
For some, being a CT simply gives them another excuse to bash and obstruct the president.
I don't LOVE the guy... But I support him as our leader.

From your writting you use a lot parrotting words. Your just repeating what others say that sounds good. Because, in reality both sides answer just what they want to answer and try to shut you down if they can't anwer the questions.

perhaps when one asks a stupid question, one should expect to get a stupid answer. when you use labels like neo-con : war-mongers you may have that opinion but it has no fact base in all or most republicans. You would do well in life to make friends and not enemies. btw... your question will be understood as hate speech.

I suppose this is what democracy is partially about.
Those people have the right to their belief as much as you an I disagree with that opinion.(a bit like religion)
As for their answers or reasoning, whatever it was we would probably not agree.

For reality-based, factual questions, I find most conservatives would rather kill the messenger than try to deprogram the jingoistic propaganda handed down by Karl Rove. It is easier than independent thinking, as we've seen over the last six years. But fortunately, most Americans have woken up to see what a fallacy the entire Bush administration is.
