Michael Richards, because he was talking about the whole African American race. Mel Gibsons comments were terrible too, but it wasnt about race, mainly a religion which is still a bad thing.

Someone made the comment that this ruined Richards' career, what a laugh. His career was over when Seinfeld ended. Even his 'Kramer' spin-off was cancelled before the first episode was filmed. As far as I'm concerned, the N-word should be banned by all groups. Keep it out of rap, out of comedy routines. It is a word full of vitriol and hatred. Get rid of it, don't support artists that use it, shout down people that speak it.

Both were bad don't get me wrong...but I think Richards...he used alot more profanity (i think) and he was making references to slavery which is a dark mark on our country and thise with those he was offending IN THE ROOM with him...Gibson's were no less were worse but he didn't do it in front of a room of Jews.

I beleive Micheal Richards comments were the worst, but both of them need to get some anger management help. They have to understand that it is the public that make them famous and they have to control their feelings until they are behind closed doors.

Michael Richards because he was sober.

They are both crazy. Something happens when people become famous. They think they are beyond reproach about anything they do. Then if they say they are sorry, all is forgiven.

I would have welcomed the honor of giving them their punishment for what they did.
