I think lot of people post those questions because they bring in the most responses, and sometimes it's fun to instigate a fight. Definitely agree with you on it being wrong and immature, though.

I think that a lot of people mix up racism and prejudice. Most everyone is prejudiced and do not like being around others who are different than themselves. That is prejudice and it is perfectly normal to not want to be around people who are quite different. Unfortunately, blacks and whites for the most part are quite different in lots of ways and, as a result, do not like to be around each other and are prejudiced toward each other. I am white and there are whites I'd just as soon shoot as look at. So, I am prejudiced against them. That does not mean I hate the white race for pete's sake, just some of them. Very few people are actually racist, ie, hate a whole race. That would be an odd thing to find.

They do it to provoke ppl.
I live in a black neighborhood and our new white neighbor
flew a rebel flag in his yard! I'm white and I'm not thrilled
and neither are the blacks. They met me at the driveway just as soon as I got back from shopping today. One guy wanted to tear the flag down. I reminded him it would be considered a hate crime. I told him the best he could hope for was a bird who really needed to relieve himself flying over the flag. I'm white and I don't like that red neck crap. I love Lynyrd Skynyrd and saw that they has checks at some mail order place. I would have ordered it, but that flag was all over it. I just gave up.

yes I agree with you. Racism is everywhere. I am hispanic. Everytime I go to the store with my cousins the store people always come to me. I think this is because I am light skinned. Same with my mother since she is very light and has blue eyes and blond-brown hair

I agree with you. The problem is that the people posting those questions WANT to perpetuate the cycle and will probably continue to do so.

Some people just do not know better and ask questions in an improper way.
But how can we address racism if we don't see these mistakes being made and correct it to change attitudes

Very well said. Unfortunately, racism is learned, often at home.
