Or does anyone have any other suggestions. I've put off taking the math course (so i might of forgot a few things) and i really don't want to take 3 1/2 month course.

First of all, I think you're doing a very smart thing in CLEPing out of algebra. It saves you time and money.

I HIGHLY suggest getting the REA book for CLEP testing.

I bought it for Psychology and US History 1. I studied those books and I passed the tests with flying colors.

However, if you're thinking about taking US History 2 with a REA book, it doesn't help whatsoever...
