Often when I'm forced to watch children's shows on kid networks, I often find the commercials advertise things that kids would not be interested in like: Tampons, Debt Consolidation, and Insurance commercials for example. Why do they show these when they know there using the wrong target audience?

Same reason they put sly little innuendo jokes into kids movies...gotta entertain the adults somehow, who are hopefully supervising the children whil watching this stuff

Plain and simple CORPORATE GREED...it's all about how much money they can make off of anyone, They have no common sense when it comes to kids and commercials. Just like you say:Tampons, medications for erectile disfunction, stuff that has NOTHING to do with kids and it's not just the advertisers but rather the network that allows it. Which goes back to me saying CORPORATE GREED.

Because they think the parents are watching along with the kids, like they should be.

Because usually parents are supposed to me monitoring what their children are watching...and because we all want our sons to come up to their dads and ask them what tampons are...
