Men drink more than women, but not by much.
Alcohol stats can be decieving because lots of drinkers don't realize they are PROBLEM DRINKERS.
The consequences can be huge, resulting in job loss, ruined relationships with family and friends, revoked driving priveledge, jail, chronic liver damage, or even death.
Most consumed liquor worldwide is vodka.
Alcoholism can be related to violence and low job productivity, but robbery isn't that prevelant.

Beer is by far the most popularly consumed alcoholic beverage, but as for liquor? I dunno - Jagermeister's pretty popular here.

Sure, they're related, but it's not the ONLY reason those things happen.

who drinks more dammed good question

I know some ladies who drink often and in reasonably large doses. and some gents who do the same.

a bit of a generic question.

Alcohol is a great social drug (well sessentially that is what it is) when used socially. It is when there is a dependance on it or a compusion to have it that the social effects become obvious.

I have no problem with people drinking it is a natural thing to does - esp here in aussie- but i do object to people becoming violent and destructive on alcohol- it is not something to blame on the alcohol it is a personal thing that is a decision you make, there are always choices in your mind even if your mind is blurred by alcohol.
