I advice you not to use post office when sending a package (small or big) to someone you know in the Philippines. It's not safe and the receiver will be asked to pay for some custom charges. You better use LBC, Fedex or UPS, it's fast and safe! You don't need a house number to send the gift... just make sure you write a telephone/cellphone number in the form when sending, so that they can contact the receiver in case they need to confirm the receiver's name and location. I hope that helps. Good Luck!!!

The mailman must have known the family name of the person you are trying to send to, that's why they got the letter even without the house number.

You can try sending the small box thru registered mail, this is safer than the regular mail. Ask the post office for info on this facility.

LBC or UPS is good, but I doubt if they will accept the transaction without providing them the house number. They will even require a contact number of the person you are trying to send to.

Hope this helps :)

Use LBC, it is what we have here. I do not know how they received the letters without house number but it is best that you get the house number from the recipient...to ensure they get to them.

I just sent a document envelope via FedEx to the provinces where the recipient has no house number and the package got there fine.

don't use the mail system. the philippine postal service is notorious for stealing packages and letters they think contain money. Use lbc or fed ex.

Take it to the post office because you can't print international postage online at USPS besides you'd have to fill out some customs form if the weight of your package qualifies. Make sure that your packaging is secure and sturdy.

Since you were able to send a letter before, most probably, your package will reach its point of destination.
