The Palm Treo 700 can take pictures with a resolution of about 1.3mega pixels. How would you rate the resolution or picture quality of video that is recorded on the Treo 700? This would mean both in terms of the actual resolution and the frames per second.

In my opinion, the video quality is pretty awful. the image is soft and 'choppy' even when only played on the Treo.

It is better than nothing, I guess, but if you need some level of quality in your videos, buy a real video camera. You'll be much happier.

There is some info about video resolutions, formats, and quality in this review about the Treo 700wx:

It says the quality is average compared to other camera phones. Fps is supposed to be 26.

here is the real answer. its ok quality it dosent really lag at all but its good for just everyday things the still pictures are great! but the video is okay at least it has sound im not sure about the frames per second but maybe its about 20. im not sure how to describe it. its good but not like video camera qaulity good. i would rate it 1 being the worst and 10 being the best i would give it an 8 hope this helps :)
