you will desire to get the backside numbers an identical. For the 1st one substitute 3/10 to 6/20, 2/5 to eight/20, and a million/4 to 5/20. then you definately can upload 6, 8 and 5 to get 19/20. For quantity 2, 20/40 + 15/40 + 4/40 = 39/40 you will desire to artwork out the smallest quantity that all the backside numbers of the fraction can all be expanded to equivalent. as long as you do an identical to the precise as you do to the backside of the fraction, it would not substitute it. For quantity 3 they are able to all equivalent 12, by using multiplying 4 by using 3, to furnish 3/12, multiply 3 by using 3 to get 4/12. Then 3/12 + a million/12 + 4/12 = 8/12, which may well be cancelled all the way down to 2/3 desire that helps!

The only way to do is like this: 1/4 +1/4=1/2. Use the backslash key where the question mark (?) is.
