Ask General Colin Powell, Secretary of State: Condoleezza Rice, Martin Luther King, Jessie Jackson (Presidential nominee) Mayor of Atlanta: Shirley Franklin, Bill Campbell, Hosea Williams, (social leader) ...just to name a very few.
I think you have your politics and major authoritative figures confused.
Are they just for show? I would say they best represent the thoughts, convictions and needs of the state, community, world and general population as all good representatives should! It is obsurd and disrespectful to these great leaders to suggest that all their hard work, loyalty and dedication was neglected to be considered, and because they are BLACK they were "given" such positions as to rule the common thoughts and betterment of our world.
I would say to not blame YOUR ignorance on the world at large. I would say to study "politics" in general. To comprehend what constitutes a true level of racial prejudice. Our great black leaders have WON their "electoral" vote. The voting system can not be manipulated to give favor to a certain ethnic group.
It is ludicrous to suggest that a certain minority gained their post via placement and puppetiering.
Rethink the simplicity of your question.......rethink the Black leadership roles we have.
.........."blacks must awake now to gain more power?"
is that statement the beginnings of race hate? or the never ending statements of one who perpetuates the hate?

That is so immature thing to say. Political and military powers were only made by America, therefore go as far as America - just for show. (Your smell looks like purple.)

What an ignorant question -- who do you think Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice are?
Not to mention, all those leaders of African countries. Blacks, and whites, and browns and everyone should wake up and vote for someone who will give us peace.

Sorry, the only victims in this country are the ones who allow themselves to be. There are many politically and militarily powerful black people.
Live with it.

Blacks DO NOT seek power, like you greedy basterds looking for power, money and land. WE ARE SATISFIED society, remember that.
Some of our people do, but I don't. And if I wanted to have a power I would and it would be the end for many "people".
