Duke. I always wanted to live in North Carolina and the school is very reputable. Plus they give free labtops to their students.

In order to pick the optimal university you first need to specify what discipline you want a degree in. If you are persuing, say a political career, then Harvard would be the best, as most of our predidents came from there. If you are persuing a music career then Indiana University Bloomington has one of the country's finest music schools. If you fancy architecture, you can't do better than Cal Tech in San Louis Obispo, California. Your pick of learning institution should be based on what you want to learn. Pick your major, then ask around among people who are at the top of that profession and see what they consider to be the best. If you are looking for a career at a particular place, then ask that place what they consider to be the best place to pick up the skills you need to work for them.
