If you're playing it back up guitar in a band, you could probably get away with strumming it once, but if you're doing it solo, you will probably need a strumming pattern. If the song has guitar in it (vs. being arranged to be played on guitar), then listen to the rhythm and start playing along, and see if you can get it. This is what I do if I need to get a strumming pattern for a song. If the song has drums, you can also work out a strumming pattern to the rhythm of the drums (I'm still working out how to do that at the moment). Hope this helps - Good luck! :)

dude if you just want lyrics and chords this site is the best......if this doesnt get the best answer i would love ot see a better site......so i hope i dont get it.....ultimate guitar and others are great.....but htey are for more experienced players who can read tabs most of hte times on songs you really want to jsut learn the chord progression....http://bettylou.zzruss.com/
