No. Like Christianity, Islam has sects. Some more radical than the others.

Wafa Sultan, a Syrian-American has dedicated her life to teaching us about the differences. She risks her life to do it.

Suicide is forbidden to Muslims; however, they can blow themselves up if they like and go to heaven. Muslims have no time to be chronically sad because they are chronically killing others not in their faith while also killing those in their faith (Sunnies vs. Shiites). They are taught violence in school and in the Quran.

I don't see sadness so much as rage. Since there seem to be some beliefs & action peculiar to Muslims, & common to Muslims in many countries, I don't see any other explanation than their religious creed.

Radical islamists stay up with rage. So they don't have chronic sadness.
