I go the cheap route. Its right there in your kitchen :-)
Use some vegitable or olive oil , a small amount on a rag. Taking your jewelry, polish in circular motions. Then buff with a clean un oiled rag. Your jewelry will smarkle and shine like the real thing.
It beats trying to find the expensive jewelry clean in the stores. Anyway, fake jewelry doesnt need the careful cleaning products as real jewelry needs.

You can also try a white toothpaste (not the gel kind) on a small, soft damp cloth. Toothpaste has a super fine abrasive and won't harm your jewelry. It also rinses cleanly with warm water, won't harm semi-precious stones like opals and pearls or pearl beads, and leaves a nice scent.
