With the service we get from postal carriers today they should be giving us a tip or a gift, Do you have any idea as to what their salaries and pensions are? And after they retire they go into a second job to earn enough to go on Social Security. Or didn't you know that they don't pay into Social Security working at the Post Office. Come on...WAKE UP...

If they went out of their way and were nice and courteous over the year I would give $40. After the post office started using independent contractors that would leave the wrong mail in the slots, and never wear uniforms I gave nothing. All people like to be appreciate $20 is more than most will give :D

i'm uncertain the place you're placed yet my Dad is a Postal service worker. He gets a good number of money on his path and a few could desire to grant as much as 50 money or a contemporary card to a food market. He additionally gets abode made cookies and stuff like that.

I have given our carrier lottery tickets, gift certificates to the local coffee shop and also candy! But I am sure that your carrier would appreciate the $20

Sure if you want to... I wouldn't though, $20 pays my garbage bill which is where most of my mail goes.

Mail carriers aren't legally allowed to take money but they seem to like "special" brownies pretty well...calms them right down too. (wink..wink)
