wear did children-work in west virgin ya?

I'm from West Virginia and I'm not sure what you mean. What time span are you talking about? The kids worked around the homes/farms back in the 60's and they still do. Other then doing odd jobs...I haven't heard of anything. As for when the kids got older the coalmines were the place to work at & still are in my areas.
