Sure but it is an old horse and just can't keep up speed anymore. Why look for it when you have exciting alternatives?
I strongly recommed Opera(www.opera.com). Why? Its FREE, It has Mobile phone version too.
1. Smallest files size(4.6MB)
2. All cool features included you don't need extra download of extensions
3. best security record(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_web_browsers)
4. fastest browser on earth(http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/browserSpeed.html#winspeed)
5. You can customize the browser including the way it looks.
6. best support for webstandard(Only opera and apple safari pass the acid2 test) http://www.webstandards.org/action/acid2/
What else? You will know how cool it is when you try.
Do I sound like sales man? I may but I am not shy to help others. if this info can help others, I don't care advocating for a good one.

Netscape browser is free, but the current version is full of ads, Firefox might be a better alternative. Based on Netscape, but leaner with less sponsored features.

Don't go for Netscape, but straight to Firefox. Netscape is just a version of Firefox released behind schedule and with additional bloat.
Other option is to use Opera.
Bottom line: Firefox or Opera.

pretty much all browsers are free these days, including Netscape.
Other free browsers out there (in my order of preference) are Firefox, Opera, Mozilla, and Sea Monkey. There are others too but less popular or not for Windows, such as Safari (mac), Konqueror (linux).
