To a certain extent yes. After all philosophies are created to help people out. Indeed, love and peace does no harm to people, but how people interpret or seek love and peace may end up being problems and not of any help.

Philosophy are opinions and concepts people create in view of making the world a better place. Using it to solve the problems faced by the world today? I guess it'd be up to the us earthlings.

I think you may be misunderstanding what philosophy is. Everyone has a philosophy. Everyone uses their philosophy to answer questions in their every day life. Ethics is part of philosophy. So are you pro life or pro choice? Are in favor of the death penalty? Do you think taking from the rich to give to the poor is wrong? These are questions philosophers have been giving their answers to. And not only that, I'm sure you have answers to this questions as well, and that would be part of your philosophy.

So maybe you would like to disregard what a professor has taught you to be the philosophy of descartes, or kant, or whoever when deciding whether it is right to give alms to beggars. But you cannot disregard your own philosophy.

Will philosophy alone save the world? Nope. Philosophy without people acting on that philosophy is just a long string of words. Acting on it transforms the string of words on a page into something much more.

most problems are solved, but the one which is not, i do not struggle with it.I am human and i also have unsolved problems. So i don't hang on it as if life has come to a stand still. Please b normal. When people keep digging on the same area it hurts again.I like to let it b the way it is,Sometimes when i look at it, kind of i go low but it's ok. I don't stay like that for ever. That does not mean the problem is gone, no.I learn to live with it.

Not all problems it was used quite often by a manager I once worked for. It helped him make decisions, but common sense and experience work the best philosophically speaking.
