Yes

But they're both pretty smart people. Not quite as smart as Nixon's choice of Dr. Kissinger, but smart.

A lot smarter than some of Clinton's choices, I like Dems more than Reps!

Of course neither Bush nor Clinton did a good job with Attorney General.

I certainly don't like his choice for Homeland Security, Madona's Attorney! Yikes! March him into the ocean!

I would have gone with Daryl Gates or Ollie North. If you're going to have a homeland security guy, make sure he's into doing the job right!

I remember the quote that cost Gates his job!

It was about the problem with airline hijackings. He said, we need a bus with 12 people, a judge and a rope on the back. We drive it out to the runway and try the hijackers on the spot.

Now that's a guy I want in charge of homeland security!

I certainly don't want someone who was an attorney from Latham & Watkins who's clients included Madonna!

If I were either of those people, I would be extremely insulted at your insinuation that I was not capable of doing my job and was only hired because of the color of my skin. Both Colin Powell and Condalesa Rice are incredibly intelligent people. This administration has made lots of mistakes. It stands to reason that not everyone is going to stay on board til the end.

You are a complete MORON!!! IT was not George Bush that said he wanted a Cabinet that " Looked like America", but rather William Jefferson Clinton. I think Bush looked to find people that are Qualified for their job. Why is it any Black REPUBLICAN that raises to some level of power is always looked at as token?? Clarence Thomas, Condi Rice, J.C. Watts, General Powell. Why can't young African Americans look to these people as role models?

Condelleza Rice speaks approximately six different languages and has a Phd.

You speak one language, MORON, and you have a Yahoo answer ID, impressive.

Collin Powell was smart enough to head for the hills, and you keep beating the same STUPID drum, "I hate blacks".

I hope you stay stuck on stupid, because as long as you and others just like remain proocupied on your superiority over the black race, we will OVERCOME. You will open your eyes one day and I will be your MASSA. Not because I'm black and your'e white but because you wasted a lifetime trying to keep me down.

Doubtful as Colin Powell left during 1st term and Rice is not viewed favorably by many black voters.

Couldnt you argue that the Al Sharptons and Jessie Jacksons are puppets of left wing white leaders who want to pound it into black heads that they will always be victims and should never try to raise themselves up but blame 'the man' for all of their problems.

Hmmm...so you think the Black people can't make up their own mind? I know many of my co-workers that are black are republicans as well, and they are serving in the military too!
