I don't think it's ever been proven, but I really doubt it... honestly, I do think that when you fall in your dreams, it is like any other shock to your body, and it might wake you up, or make you jump!
I do that alot...I have some crazy dreams and serious nightmares
sometimes so I know that I've been close to falling, or being shot,
and in my dream, I am being threatened, chased, or whatever...
I've lived a good many years, and I just don't believe that theory! I think it is more of a "old wives' tale",...like the one about if you pull out a grey hair, then two more will grow back in!....... Sweet dreams!

No, you usually wake up before you finish the fall. Because when you so frightened it will trigger your body to jump, and that will wake you up. Dont' worry, next time when you dream you falling again, try to grab something to stop the fall in the dream. I usually do that. Conquer the dream...it's all in your mind.

No, I don't think so. In most instances, we either wake up just before we fall or don't die from the fall.

Funny enough, I read this in my psych book today. It said that if you dream about falling your sleep, that it is not humanly possible to do so. The reason why you get this "falling sensation" is due to a limb hanging off of your bed. This is due to the blood rushing to that body part, and flowing more rapidly. This leads to the allusion that you are "falling" in your sleep.
So, my answer to your question would be "no."

Ive always heard that you NEVER die in your dreams, you always wake up rite before you do or you go into another dream before it happens. But that if you do die in your dream you die in real life, but ive heard some people say that they have died in their dreams, but i personally never have. Theres a lot of really good books and websites on dreams its really interesting to read about.

needless to say no longer! I used to dream i replaced into spider woman and bounce off homes and fall once I landed. i'm continually falling in objectives and that i do no longer think of i'm lifeless... or am I? :P needless to say Im alive! that's in basic terms a dumb and stupid delusion don't think it. i think of that somebody probable made it up a protracted, long term in the past. They probable went right into a coma after their dream - whilst that they had hit the floor regardless of the undeniable fact that it replaced into of course in basic terms a accident! you may die in real existence - yet no longer in objectives. I recommend I even have been given eaten by using a crocodile in my dream! And yet hear i'm telling you all of this... :D

I had been thinking about that to. So I asked my grandfather. He knows a lot about stuff like that. He said that he wouldn't really know because he didn't fall all the way. So I ask all of my friends. One of them said my no you would not die. I asked her how she knew and she said that she fail all the way down and just got up and walked away.So I hoped I helped with your question.
