My seperated wife has a protection order on me in which she claims that I have beaten her throughout our relationship and punched her in the face repeatedly on one occassion. I have never ever laid a hand on her and am very upset at the allegations.

First I want to say it is terrible that men get the impression that most of the women are liars and manipulative as I read some guy says.
This woman is abusive and she uses the accusation which is the most at hand.
Maybe she read too much about Macca and his wife and she takes the idea from there.
I can understand you are upset, it is a normal reaction.
Now, how comes it takes the divorce for you to realise she is a liar?
I can not imagine she never did before. And it seems impossible that you never witness her doing so.
If one comes with such big lies and as she got the protection order it means that she is an experimented liar, I can tell you.
On the other hand how comes she gets it?
Do you receive it, wherever you live, if there are no proofs you stalked her?

Some women have the sad desire to be the center of attention, and that's what it sounds like to me. Maybe she's pissed about how things turned out, and instead of looking to see how she could have fixed things or even just made things amicable, she decided to put it all on you to make her look better, even if it's false. No woman wants to be labelled as the person who had a hand in ruining her own marriage, so maybe she's displacing the blame, and in a dispicable way at that. Leave her to her lying ways and move on with someone worth your time.

This is an easy one. She just wants you to look like the bad person in this seperation. She probably is so insecure, that anyone questioning her part in the seperation is just too much for her to deal with. Also, if you have kids, this is the most chicken **** way to get an upper hand on custody.

To be honest, i thinks someone put her up to it...may be she is going through some emotional issues and needs counseling...you could contest the protective order and have her go through a lie detector to find out the truth...to me she is being childish about something...she wants to hurt you...also she wants to get whatever she can get from you....she was probably cheating on you and this way she can get on with her life and you can't do nothing to stop it...there is a lot of reasons...sorry

I would go to blowmeuptom.com, nomarriage.com, and do a search on Men's Rights Activism, you might find some legal help there to cover your assets.
That said, the reason your wife would lie on you like that is because she's a woman, and most women are dishonest, self serving, hateful attention whores. By saying you hit her, she gains sympathy from fools who don't know how women are, and looks like the victim, which women in general are always trying to do. Don't waste your time being mad, and trying to figure out why your wife would tell such lies on a nice guy like you. That's what women do when they get mad at men, they break out the gamut of "he abused me, he assaulted me, he sexually abused me/my kids" accusations. It's second nature to them, one of the little games they play in their never ending search for the Bigger Better Deal. Women initiate divorce 70% of the time, they have kids, they get tired of the relationship, and they check out of it. They have the lies they're going to tell to end the relationship ready before you've even said your vows, no lie.
Best advice, check out the sites I gave you, look around on the internet. There are places out there full of men who share your story, though I dare not give them out here. Respect the protection order, no reason to give her a bigger stick to beat you with. Meanwhile, get legal guns, and go after her for slander. Best of luck to you brother.

to get the protection against u she had to say you were a threat to her, even if u were not. she is seeing someone else and needed to keep u away from the house because she is having him over alot and doesn't want u to see what she is up to.
