jeans too baggy?

I am small in the butt and legs but large in my stomach and a little big in my hips. I cant seem to find a good fit in jeans. when i get a pair that fits my my waist there always too baggy in my butt. anyone else have this problem and what do you do? my cousin says to go down a size and a friend says to wear shorts underneath them to make my butt look bigger.

Get pants with an elastic waist. You can buy the size for your butt, and the elastic will fit your tummy. No one will know they are elastic if you wear your shirts on the outside....I don;'t know what size you are but if you are size 14 and up go to Lane Bryant's on line, they have lots of choices....Good luck...

No such thing as too baggy of pants!! I personally like baggy pants and a tighter tee shirt myself, but if your looking for a nice fit, try Old Navy stretch pants, and get a smaller size until it fits you right, it stretches after a few wearings. The stretch are a little extra, but they fit so good. Dont worry, my butt is weird, all the pants that fit me right go straight up over my butt, so I have a 'scoop'. Oh well. Or if your into the goth scene, Tripp pants have adjusters on the side of almost all thier pants, that make for a really good fit.

I'm very petite and my jeans always seem to fit good.
But a way to help you is pick out jeans that are a little too big.
But fits and then take it to a tailor so that they can tailor the jeans
for you. I shop at this boutique and they sell nothing but 7 For all Mankind and Citizens jeans. And they are a bit on the expensive side my mom pays $135 dollars for my jeans but its so worth it because they are the BEST FIT for me since I'm so petite I wear a size 0-1 and in Mankind I wear 24 . So possibly going for the jeans that's more expensive can be more beneficial.

See if there's a consignment (look in Yellow Pages under 'consignment) or second-hand store near you with a good selection of jeans.

Go. Prepare to spend a few hours there, and be ready to come home with nothing.

But, it'll give you an excellent idea of how different brands cut their jeans. At worst, you'll know what to avoid; at best, you'll come home with a pair, but, odds are that you'll leave saying "Okay, what I want is size X brand ABC, in such-and-such style."

Shorts underneath strikes me as a weird idea -- it couldn't be comfortable, and would pad out what I doubt you want padded out. But the right pair with the right cut would just flatter.

As for your cousin, hmm. Jeans tend to give a bit after you've had them on for a half hour or so, so what seems tight in some places might be worth a try if they're a nice fit for your bum.

All that said, though -- I'm inclined to suspect that nobody has ever looked at you and thought, "How awful. That poor girl. Her jeans were not custom-made. They are a bit loose in the rear, which is a terrible thing."

Lands' End makes custom jeans. Haven't tried it yet; wish it was even more customized, but. They'll even send you sample swatches of their denim.

SexyGurl Is a B***** just ignore her.... I wear a 14 and have the same issues........ I personally like MUDD jeans.... they fit good, and they give the impression that you have a butt.... it kinda balances you out..... I really like that they make my butt look cute.... and they are only like $40.00 a pair.... not too bad.
