Well, what are u doing out of state...that is the question. If u are running away so that you can "further" your relationship; it depends on what state you live in and what the legal age of consent (which varies from state to state). Here in my state, 16 is the legal age. I would think you're fine at 17. However, if you ran away from home and your parents are not aware of this...yes there could be a bit of a problem...

No, transporting a minor across state lines is only an issue when it's done for "immoral purposes" (the Mann Act). You can't take a minor across state lines to engage in any sexual activity. Just don't do it while you're there, I guess.
Since a 17 year old can consent to sex with another 17 year old in TN, you don't have to go out of state to have sex, so it hardly seems like you could be charged with going out of state *for that purpose.* But who knows. Keep it in your pants.

Yes, because both of you are still considered minors. You will both need the permission of your parents to go out of State. In fact, even asking your parents is a good standred thing to do. If the police are called, both of you can get into trouble with the law and very good lecture from the officers. also it depends upon what you both are going to be doing as before, ask your parents a valid question if they don't approve, then they must have a reason for saying no.

You need to find out the age of legal consent or adulthood in Tn to answer this question.
Also, the boy being the same age does not matter. Consent does not matter. You are talking about some huge charges that will follow you a life time.

Yes, your boyfriend can get in trouble under federal Mann act. It makes illegal to take a minor female across state lines with immoral purpose.[1]

Think about this.
There is thousands of teens who live in cities that border other states and go on dates often. So, I guess you can across state lines.
