Toronto, Ontario, Canada hosts the northernmost NCAA Division I-A bowl game. Toronto is host to the International Bowl, which this season will be played on January 6, 2007. It will the first post-season bowl game held outside the United States since the 1937 Bacardi Bowl in Havana, Cuba. It is set to be played between a Mid-American Conference school and a Big East school (either the 5th or 6th place team). As of now, MAC West Division runner-up Western Michigan has accepted a bid to the International Bowl but the other team has yet to be decided (probably will be set after this weekend). It will be played at the Rogers Centre (formerly the SkyDome), which has a retractable roof and will likely be played indoors.
Boise, Idaho will host the northernmost game played outdoors, as the MPC Computers Bowl (formerly the Humanitarian Bowl) will be played at Boise State University. It is set to be played between a WAC team and the 8th placed ACC team.
