I agree with all of the above.
All of these methods are great for looking for jobs.
Be mindful that you are not the only one looking so you must be patient if you do not receive any call backs regarding your resume.
However, persistence does work. It shows the employer that you are interested.
Make a schedule to dedicate some time daily to look for jobs and send out your resume daily. It does take time to find the "right" job so keep your focus and keep your energy up!
The more positive you are about the process the better the outcome will be!
Hope all works out for you. Best of luck with your job search.
God Bless.....

The best way is to find jobs that are not advertised. You do that by networking. Asking friends and family if they know of any positions that might be open. Once you find out, try to e-mail the person who does the hiring and ask for an interview. Mention names if you know someone in the company. You need to wow them in the interview but you'll have less competition since the job wasn't posted.

I think it depends on what TYPE of job you are looking for.
For resume based jobs in a specific field or with specific qualifications, the net works great (www.careerbuilder.com for example)
For restaurant or retail types of jobs applications turned in between 2-4pm have the best results.
(this is my experience)

All the above...but it also depends on what field you are looking at. You can also conduct informational interviews to ask people in the position you want how they would look.
