O.k. Mine was writing to a local newspaper about my feelings on adding a new business to my residential street. I was for it. I should've known my neighbors would be furious, and I should've known that paper would actually print it. Stupid me!

When I was about 8 years old, my cousin was pushing around this grocery cart she had found near her house in San Francisco. She was pushing the other kids around in it. It looked like fun, so she told me to get in and she started pushing me in the cart. Like a sack of groceries, I plummeted to the ground and busted my lip when she ran over a crack in the pavement and the cart stumbled out of her control.
I ran to my aunt's house to my mother, screaming and crying, busted, bleeding lip and all my mom could say was, "Didn't I tell y'all not to go playing in those carts?"

I jumped off a balcony about 10 years ago. Broke my ankle too.
