No.
As people get older they grow in different directions.
People grow less willing to put up with other people's short-comings.
If you can find any of George Harrison's later quotations about Paul McCartney you'll realise that he and John weren't too interested in working with Paul anymore.
John naturally grew away from the band and into his marriage and celebrity life. The bed in for peace for example. He also continued to work solo and in conjunction with others. I'm sure he considered this to be invigorating and refreshing.
John really moved on from the beatles constraints.Yono is not to blame. Really noone is to blame. But I think Paul pushed the others apart more than anyone else.
John said he took five years off completely to raise Shawn. He later recorded "wheels goin round and round" about that time period.

This is the most common answer, but I believe it's too simple.
Here's an alternate theory
I was given part of this, and I've inferred the rest.
The Beatles' breakup began when they went to India.
Basically, the four met with Norah Jones' dad (I forget his name),
and hung out smoking pot and writing The White Album. What happened was that while John and George loved the experience and intended to continue in the lifestyle, Paul and Ringo were ready to go back to work. The disagreement this created broke apart Lennon and McCartney's songwriting association.
(Note the difference in thier writing after Sgt. Pepper. Paul wrote
about love and family and clouds and puppies, John wrote about the failures of the established order and about red monkey dragons that were nibbling on his earlobes. This difference wasn't as evident before, because the two put their vision together to create a realistic worldview. After Pepper, John and Pauls images break apart (Coincidentally, this may be why neither of their solo careers were as successful as thier Beatles work).
I apologize if I haven't written this well, but I'm basically saying that the worldview differences between John and Paul had more to do with the Beatles breakup. Yoko was just part of this process, and while a major catalyst, not the TRUE reason.

Um no, ya can't blame the girlfriend for the breakup. It's pretty unreasonable because the fans (the girls) probably were jealous that Yoko was goin out with John Lennon (I'm not sure it's been a while) and made up some stupid excuse for the band to breakup when truthfully every band will probably break up in a matter of years, even if they don't have any conflits. Because eventually everyone will soon have a family and have to spend time with them. So as you can see Yoko was not the reason for the break up it was just a compromise between the band members to break up.

No,what in fact broke up The Beatles replaced right into a dispute between Lennon and McCartney.all of us else that replaced into in touch interior the breakup and all its drama(George,Ringo,Yoko,Allen Klein,The Eastmans, and Phil Spector between those in touch)have been all basically caught interior the midsection! Hell,John admitted at one factor to making use of Yoko for the particular objective of pissing the different Beatles off! final analysis is that The Beatles have been headed down the line to splitsville lengthy in the previous Yoko ever entered the image, she replaced into basically between the various clever and experienced excursion classes they met!

It was after Yoko Ono that John Lennon began to dapple in "artistic forms" of music and somewhat lost his egde with the fans.
Lennon was happier with Yoko, but the Beatles didnt approve of her being such an influence.
If its any consolation, Yoko and McCartney are friendly to this day so it couldnt have been that serious.

It all started to fall apart when their manager, Brian Epstein, died unexpectedly. Yoko was just another wedge that caused the gap between them to widen. When they couldn't agree on who should manage them after Brian, things went south in a hurry, because by that time communication had dried up completely, and when that happens, it's all over.

No. John had a bit of a big head. (I guess I would too, if I had his talent) It had nothing to do with Yoko.- Since John was the King .
There was a bit of jealously, I suppose, John didn't like the fact that George Harrison wanted to try out, and record some of his own music.
They sort of all mutually went their separate ways. If I recall correctly.

Yes that's what people said. But you could say it was because John and Paul married and their lifestyles changed. Linda and Yoko were very different.

The band fought a lot about her because John listened to her a lot and she butted her nose into the bands business too much.
