Look at Freedom of Speech. This is the First Amendment of the Constitution.

Countries like Cuba and North Korea still don't have Freedom of Speech. While America has many newspapers, those countries have only one or two that are owned by their governments. While America allows companies to manage the publicly owned airwaves, in those countries the government owns the airwaves and the tv stations. Those countries tell their people everything they want to know. In America, citizens can find out and say anything they want.

What's funny is that America criticizes Cuba and North Korea for not having this freedom, but at times, America talks about taking the freedom away.

Senator Newt Gingrich said on the TV news today, he wants to take freedom of speech away from people who use the internet. Neoconservatives Republicans always say citizens must lose this freedom so that citizens can be protected against enemies. Some people say Republicans want to silence people who don't agree with their policies. Imagine that?

Americans have a responsibility to fight to maintain Freedom of Speech just as they did in 1776 when this country was founded. Even the Bush Administration will try to enact laws to dismantle those freedoms. But since American has Freedom of Speech, they can stand up and be heard and say they disagree with Bush. That's what this Freedom is all about-- being heard.

If America citizens don't stand up and protect all of this Country's freedoms, then citizens are not doing their jobs. Voting is not enough. Speaking and writing your opinion is the only thing that will protect democracy. Tell your teacher.

Any country that eliminates his compatriots, rich or poor, are not fair, they are monsters, unless we all becomes the same there is no fix, and think that religion have a percent of culpability. Love thy neighbor, but if the neighbor does not love you we are back to square one.

We have more freedoms than any other nation, but most of all we have more faith than any other country.
We were established as a Christian nation and 85% still say that they are Christian, but you cannot write about that in school.
Not in this generation of Christian bashing teachers and professors and lawyers.
I would not live anywhere else.
