Firefox has an awesome built in pop-up blocker. And it keeps out more viruses too
If you're not sure what exactly Firefox is, it's a safer web explorer than Internet Explorer. It works the same way, just keeps out more junk.
www.getfirefox.com
Or, if you don't want to download that, you can go to Google, and they make a pretty good free pop-up blocker. It doesn't block em all, but then again, I have yet to come across a program that blocks every single pop up anyways.
Hope I helped!

what programs are you using.... I have sbc/att it has its own pop up blockers, also on the tools menu you can click on internet and click on security tab and make sure its on internet, the first pic, then go down to bottom of box and click on Med High, which is what I have mine on, then click on custom level and scroll downward all the way closest to the end of page and find pop-up blocker and enable this feature. You really have to read them all until you get to the one that says pop-up. Hope this helps.
If you have a security system like Norton, or SBC security or Firewall, or Foxfire all of these programs have their very own popup blocker file thingys. Email me or IM me if I can help further. Ciao

you could download firefox which has a built in pop up blocker...Im not a big fan of firefox though.
Instead do what I do and use pop up stopper by panicware...download the free edition.
