"...what are the five things about our company that keep you awake at night..." These are my responses...what do you think?
1. Can I think as 'outside the box' as they need me to?
2. Is this the company I see myself with in 10 yrs?
3. How can I apply my distribution knowledge in this new environmental field?
4. How can I prove my worth to my bosses?
5. How can I grow professionally (learn ACT, Quickbooks, etc)?

I am completing my second month for this company, this is his second day. Imput?

Business speak is sooo amusing. Like they really think people are up at night worrying over the company. Well, anyway, these are good answers: they show that you are concerned to be of value to the company. You're there 2 months, he's there 2 days, and he wants to know things about the company that keeps you up at night? Besides him? Oy....

Sounds like this new boss is trying to make points somewhere. Almost like a politician. Time will tell as to whether his asking this question is from a genuine interest in those working under him, or just a typical "middle management" type who's trying to impress the higher-ups right out of the gate.
Tread carefully.
